Melinda is an interior designer with over ten years of professional experience. After graduating from the Boston Architectural College with a Masters of Interior Architecture, Cabanilla collaborated with several architecture and interior design firms – giving her a breadth of knowledge to work with clients every step of the way.

In 2009, she founded Mistura Interior Design, Inc which specializes in both high end residential and commercial design throughout Boston and the US.

Melinda started Blueprints of Love after losing her aunt to breast cancer. Her love of children, passion for design and urge to give back landed her with a need to create something unique here in Boston. Though no longer directly involved with Blueprints of Love, she is very passionate about this organization and her volunteers who make the engine run, and she is excited for what the future holds for this organization.

Jess is a lover of many things in this life, but bringing happiness to those who need it is definitely a highlight. She is beyond thrilled to be a part of Blueprints of Love. Her hope is to bring a bit of sunshine and inspiration to children going through a challenging time. Having a place where you feel safe and comfortable, yet happy and inspired is a beautiful gift to give someone. She has loved design ever since she was a little kid. It’s just something about shaping the space around you and creating an experience for people to connect in that makes her heart sing. In her spare time, you may find her dancing around her den, playing with her pup, or hanging out with the friends and family that make her life so colorful.

Alex initially worked for five years in the banking industry where he held a variety of management positions and accumulated many accomplishments. One of his major accomplishments was developing a strategic plan to increase the quantity of customers for the Bank of America branch in Brookline, MA. Alex always had an interest in real estate since he purchased his first house at age 20. He later in 2009 received his Massachusetts Real Estate license to concentrate on Real Estate and very quickly became one of Massachusetts most trusted Real Estate agents. In 2008, Alex entered into the music and entertainment industry by establishing DAJTUMIR MUSIC.
